Psychology
Psychology focuses on“ science with impact” with students and faculty engaging together in a highly collaborative environment. The department is focused on advancing basic science to provide solutions to real-world issues from critical research on attention and driving safety to groundbreaking research on epigenetic effects that link maternal stress and infant health, to the use of computer-delivered therapies to prevent suicide among active personnel. Psychology has many engaged learning opportunities for students with special programs in research( including an honors track), advanced seminars, as well as active engagement in the community, and service and internship placements with industry and non-profit organizations.
