Significance of November Revolution as Torchbearer after 108 Years
The significance of the November Revolution and the importance of assimilating its lessons in today’ s world are immense. After the collapse of Soviet Russia, the bourgeoisie shouted that history was over. But the people, toiling masses who create history have repeatedly thrown challenges in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Africa, and Latin America over the globe. After the fall of social imperialist Soviet Russia, imperialist and capitalists and their lackeys invented various type of populist method to build up narrative to divert the people’ s movement. They are also successful to some extent against socialism as well as communists. But the lessons of the November Revolution are our weapon to re-establish the physical and philosophical leadership of the vanguard of the working class in the place where the protests of the common people and the uprisings of the revolutionary classes are suffering from directionlessness and becoming the prey of capitalist propaganda. Not only capitalists, under the garb of Maoism, they are campaigning that Leninist age of revolution is over, and November revolution has no significance today. W e have to counter it. Actually, they are hand in gloves with right revisionist and bourgeoisie. In this imperialist era, if we are to take forward the new democratic revolution led by the working class as part of the socialist revolution in our country, we have to return to the world’ s first socialist revolution again and again, the successful uprising to establish a working-class state, the November Revolution. The workers got the right to run the state and the peasants got freedom from the slavery of a thousand years of feudal rule. Women got the taste of rights and freedom. The oppressed nations of Russia were given autonomy. Before this, the exploited and oppressed people anywhere else in the world could not even imagine this liberation from the yoke of the bigwigs. This is the achievement of the Bolshevik Communist Party of Russia and the success of the leadership of Comrade Lenin. But remember that the workers’ state that was created through this November Revolution by overthrowing the compromised Mensheviks, left revisionist, bourgeois-petty bourgeois leadership and which started walking on the path of socialist revolution had no prior practical experience. The new nascent socialist state is learning from their mistakes. This socialist state proved its strength in the Second World War. It was a milestone in the world history and world peace. The victory was impossible over fascists without the able leadership of Soviet Union and Comrade Stalin. Sacrifice of crores of Soviet People saved the world from catastrophe. But after the huge victory of the Second World War over fascists
