fighting traditions of the people earned in the aftermath of this November Revolution in the direction of the liberation of women and oppressed nations against that bourgeois propaganda and attack.
On the eve of this November Revolution, Comrade Lenin presented several conditions for a successful uprising. He says that a successful uprising must rely on the vanguard of the working class, not on a conspiracy, not on a party, this is the first condition. The second condition is that the uprising must rely on the revolutionary rise of the people. The third condition is that at the juncture of the revolution, the alertness of the vanguard of the people must be at the highest level and the vacillation of the enemy, the weak and the undependable, who do not trust the communists, will be extreme. Lenin, explaining Marx, wrote months before the revolution of 1917 that revolution is undoubtedly and definitely an art. W e have to keep in mind the rebellion or art of that November Revolution. The November Revolution is that art and its artist was the Bolshevik Party. The lesson of this revolution is not only to destroy the counter-revolutionaries but also to advance the revolution and to protect it as part of the world revolution in the interests of world peace. The Bolshevik Party under Lenin’ s leadership has taught us both to be uncompromising and to compromise in the interests of the revolution. Based on the balance of power, we must determine the nature of our compromise, which will be forced and which will be voluntary. But as an internationalist working class party, there will be no compromise with the bourgeoisie for the sake of becoming a part of the government power.
If we look at India today, we will see that the workers- farmers and the working-class people are under vicious attack. The owners of December-2025 domestic and foreign monopoly capital, the remaining feudal lords are jointly looting. These attacks are being legitimized in the name of caste, religion, and language. After Congress’ s Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Narasimha Rao, Manmohan Singh, today the third phase of liberal economy is being carried out by BJP-RSS’ s Narendra Modi, Amit Shah. This phase is even more cruel and terrible. We saw during the Corona pandemic when crores of people were unemployed, landless and small farmers were not getting the price for their crops, middle class ordinary employees were helpless in the face of the increase in the prices of daily necessities. At that very time, the labour laws were changed by taking advantage of the helplessness of the people. The right to lay off workers at any time was given to the owners. And the right to go to court against the owners was taken away from the workers of small factories. The agricultural law has been changed. The right to hoard grain as much as they want has been given to the hoarders. The law on the minimum price of grain set by the government has been lifted. In the name of contract farming, the sharecroppers, small and medium farmers have been handed over as food to the violent capitalist monsters like Ambani, Adani, Tata. Not only that, as a result of this law, the big rural markets will be gradually killed where small and medium farmers used to come to sell their grain. As a result, the rural small traders will be destroyed. New type of moneylenders will be created. The era of indigo farming atrocities will return. And on the contrary, in the name of the Citizen Bill CAA, SIR is being created so that the toiling farmers cannot unite. But here also farmers movement showed the peoples strength, lackeys of Indian compradors and imperialists. The Modi Govt. led by
RSS due to the pressure of the movement was forced to repeal the Farm Laws. It shows that no parliament, no constitution except the mass movement on streets is the only way to establish the right of toiling masses. And November Revolution teaches us how to transform this mass movement into Revolutionary movement. This is the importance of November Revolution. Now we have to learn from November revolution as Lenin advised and we have to learn from China’ s October Revolution and other liberation struggles in various countries.
In many states in India regional parties like TMC, DMK of the ruling class are in power. They follow the carrot and stick policy. On the one hand, distribution of the government money as alms, socialization of corruption, and on the other hand, police atrocities if people oppose. They are opposing BJP-RSS with hollow words but not in the streets and they have no programme and intention of resisting. In the face of this terrifying fascist attack by the central ruling class, communists must highlight the tradition of the joint movement of workers and peasants of the November Revolution, the legacy of Tebhaga- Telangana-Naxalbari in India.
Like the revisionists in Russia, here too, in the name of saving the constitution, in the name of democracy, the parties called‘ Left’ are trying to mislead the workers and peasants with the illusion of seizing power through elections, not by fighting with another part of the ruling class like Congress. This is a betrayal of the teachings of the November Revolution. There is a part of the working people of the country under their influence. In this case, we have to find out the way to form relationship and increase our influence with the working people under the influence of those parties. We have to build a militant contd. in page 13 15
