Early Graduation
Students who have completed state and local graduation requirements may exit with an official final transcript at the end of 1 st semester their senior year. Students who complete graduation requirements early may participate in graduation exercises at the end of the school year. Students who will meet all graduation requirements and wish to exit early should submit an application for early graduation to the principal at the end of the junior year.
North Carolina Academic Scholars Program
Recognition The students who qualify for this special recognition:
• will be designated by the State Board of Education as North Carolina Academic Scholars.
• will receive a seal of recognition attached to their diplomas.
• may use this special recognition in applying to post-secondary institutions.
