In the A-wing, there is talk amongst the students about an upcoming performance. This year in the theater program, the students are busy at work preparing for the upcoming performance of “The Miracle Worker” by William Gibson. This heartwarming and beautiful play follows the story of a young woman who goes by the name of Helen Keller. Helen is blind and deaf and unable to communicate with the world, until she met her teacher, Annie Sullivan. Annie shows her how to connect with people and communicate in a way that is unique to a person with Helen’s disabilities.

The theater program will be putting on the play November 9th-12th. If you are interested in seeing the show, there will be information on the Silver Creek Website updating when tickets will come on sale. The students work really hard to put on these plays and would appreciate your help. They are talented students looking to share their abilities with the world, so please help them do that and come and see the show!
