Th e chief attractions at the fair were Taiyo – a leading aquarium
and pet feed manufacturer from Chennai promoting the Make
In India initiative; Petveda – a range of pet grooming products
from Terrai Natural Products based on the ancient Indian
sciences of Ayurveda and herbal medicine; Petmate – an online
app for pet mating and pet based services; Poonchh – a range
of eco-conscious and sustainable pet clothing and accessories;
Vetina Healthcare – a veterinary product company that also
provides a pet insurance cover; and Hyzesst – a smart apparel
company providing a range of body cooling clothing products
aimed at preventing dehydration in pets during tropical Indian
summers.
IIPTF is fast becoming one of the highest profi le ways for pet
business owners to gain momentum in the industry. Brands
such as Basil and Wahl India utilised the ideal platform
provided by India International Pet Trade Fair to launch their
pet products. Basil introduced its latest range of dog treats
while Wahl India launched a brand new hair brush for pets.
Nimisha Dixit, Owner of pet apparel brand Dog O Bow and
fi rst runner-up in the Entrepreneur of the Year category in
the Indian Pet Industry Awards 2019, too disclosed plans for
