Knitting Know How
How to Purl:
Hold the needle at the front. Slide the right needle through the first
stitch on the left needle from right to left, taking the tip of the right hand
needle across in front of the left.
Take the wool around the right needle in an anti-clockwise direction through
the middle of the cross.
Slide the right needle back through the stitch, catching the wool to create a
loop on the right needle.
Slip the original stitch off the left needle. The newly made stitch is now on
the right needle.
At the end of every row turn the work so you can start the next row.
