One store in Port Orange , FL , hosts a local authors and crafters event that has grown to become a regular occurrence throughout the year , depending on the season .
Sam and Susan Titera owned a Christian bookstore in Washington , MO , that had been there for 25 years . But after moving to Florida and listening to Christian radio in the car one day , God prompted Susan to open a Christian bookstore at the Daytona Beach Flea Market . Susan was only able to work a few days a week , due to health reasons , so the venue worked well . Then hurricane season came .
After finding a store front at a storage unit , FromMyLibrary2URS had a place of its own . That ’ s when they were approached by other small businesses to host a business expo . The event was a success and word spread .
Although the store location moved two more times ,
more people wanted to participate in the event . Local authors and crafters heard about the store and asked to sell books , crafts and jewelry on consignment . Authors insisted they have a local authors and small business expo every month .

It kept growing to the point we couldn ’ t have everyone who wanted to come join us

“ It kept growing to the point we couldn ’ t have everyone who wanted to come join us ,” Susan says .
Now they book months in advance and have a limit of 10 authors or crafters . Although , most of the time , they have 12 . Since it ’ s first come , first served , participants will call to make sure there is a spot available for them .
