Employability Skills Major Award : 3M0935
This course is designed to give students an opportunity to explore personal , social and vocational skills and includes a high level of integration into the local community . The programme equips students with foundation-level work-related skills . Students will progress to greater levels of independence , manage health and well-being , and participate in a meaningful way in their local communities , workplaces and society .
The programme is designed to boost self-confidence and improve social skills , thereby enabling students to mix with people in a variety of social settings , and make new friends . Completion of this course will help students to a better quality of life .
QQI LEVEL 4
Learners who have successfully completed a programme at level 3 , or have the literacy , language and communication skills to meet assessment requirements at QQI Level 4 are eligible . Programmes at this level offer adults the opportunity to extend and develop Communication , Maths and IT Skills . These programmes support skills development and progression to employment or further study . A total of 90 credits is required to achieve a major award at this level .
