QQI LEVEL 5
Learners who have successfully completed a programme at Level 4 , or have the literacy , language and communication skills to meet assessment requirements at QQI Level 5 are eligible . Learners at this level are expected to work autonomously and under general direction . Once level 5 is successfully completed , the student may seek employment or apply for courses in a range of higher education institutions and programmes . A Total of 120 credits is required to achieve a major award at this level . Level 5 programmes are funded under BTEI and fees may apply . Please see criteria for BTEI .
