HOLIDAY DECORATIONS 2.8 NARC Approval may be necessary depending on the requirements of your specific neighborhood. ACC approval will not be required as long as all Master Guidelines are met. SPECIAL NOTE: These guidelines apply to the temporary use of holiday decorations. The application process for approval is not required to decorate for holidays. The Kings Ridge Community Association shall not have nor shall assume any responsibility or warranty for the roof, gutters, downspouts, decorations and the substrate to which any decorations are applied. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Holiday decorations may be displayed in a tasteful and respectful manner anywhere on the home or on the premises. Homeowner shall be responsible for any and all damages to the property by the maintenance company, and to homeowner’s holiday decorations or to any other adjacent premises arising from the display of holiday decorations. 2. Homeowner may request that the lawn maintenance contractor not perform maintenance services during the period of decorations display. 3. Decorations may be illuminated internally or externally and may be animated. Maintain animated and inflatable decorations in working order at all times during the display. 4. Sound effects at a reasonable level are permitted until 11:00 p.m. daily. 5. Please use common sense and respect your neighbor’s rights and concerns. RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS and HALLOWEEN Decorations may be displayed no earlier than four weeks prior to the actual holiday date and promptly removed no later than two weeks after the date of the holiday. Christmas decorations may be displayed as early as the day following Thanksgiving. OTHER HOLIDAYS or SPECIAL OCCASIONS Decorations may be displayed no earlier than one week before the actual holiday date (i.e. Fourth of July, any U. S. holiday; St. Patrick’s day, St. Valentine’s day, Grandma’s birthday, etc.) and promptly removed no later than one week after the holiday or occasion.
