On Friday 14th March the school year 7, 8 and 9 netball teams took a trip to Sophia Gardens also known as Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff to watch the Celtic Dragons play against Hertfordshire Mavericks. After a hard and tough match the Celtic Dragons unfortunately were defeated by the Mavericks. The Celtic Dragons lost to a 51-44 defeat against Hertfordshire.
Every player who played for the Celtic Dragons were outstanding and didn’t give up. Everyone who visited the Celtic Dragons had a great time and we all learnt new tips to improve our netball skills. All of the corpus netball teams were cheering and chanting as well as everyone else who attended the Celtic Dragon match. On the whole we were even luckier to have Celtic Dragon’s 6ft 6’’ Goal shooter Timmy visit out netball training to help us improve our skills. Everybody had a great time and I guarantee everybody would love to do it again.
