Olivia Phelps- Historian
As the year draws to a close , I want to thank everyone who contributed to our success in earning first place in the scrapbook competition , even if that means that your contribution was simply to be in photos . The 2023-24 theme revolving around “ ingenuity ” truly came to life through each of your contributions to VJCL as a whole , which were then displayed as photos in the scrapbook where students not only displayed ingenuity , but also ambition , enthusiasm , spirit , and dedication to the Classics . I ’ m also currently gathering photos to create a comprehensive , and most importantly , memorable , set of photos of the Virginia delegation at Nationals . Additionally , I ’ m compiling a guide full of tips and tricks to help the next officer continue our tradition of excellence in the scrapbook .
