International talent tool kit for SMEs

Prepare to recruit from a global talent pool by utilising an online international talent tool kit for SMEs – or hone your company’s ability to attract the best and brightest employees abroad, if your company is still new on the global talent market.

We provide a free online tool kit that incorporates easy-to-use guides on international recruitment practices with do’s and don’ts, inspiring best practices and specific recruitment tools. The international talent tool kit is scheduled to go online in the fall of 2013.

For more information on the upcoming tool kit, please contact Project Manager Kasper Jorn: kjo@copcap.com.

New Danish language course customised for international employees

Invest in the Danish skills of your international employees and shorten the time it takes for them to settle into your organisation and the Danish society.

Intro-dansk is a newly designed Danish language course for international knowledge professionals working in the Capital Region. The course is offered by the Centre for Internationalisation and Parallel Language Use (CIP) at the University of Copenhagen and consists of 5 modules of 50 lessons each.

The course focuses on:

- Work-related vocabulary based on the needs of the individual participants;

- Teaching materials based primarily on situations from the daily workplace;

- Relevant speech acts and genres

Intro-dansk blends face-to-face teaching with online learning which allows the participants to fit the course into their professional lives.

The participation is free of charge when certain requirements in the Act on Danish for Adult Foreigners are met.

Otherwise, it is possible to enroll in the course by paying a fee (approx. DKK 6,000 for each module, 2012 rates).

For more information about the course, the requirements for free participation and how to sign up, please contact Contact CIP cip@hum.ku.dk
