The Danish Democracy

Why do Danes act the way they do? And what are the principal Danish political values? By offering a brief introduction to the modern history, national identity, political culture and society of your new home country, we help you break the code to understand the Danish democracy and mentality.

Please come and join our four-part course on Danish democracy, politics and society. The course is developed and run by Cph Volunteers and consists of four lectures that can be combined with three guided tours to the Danish parliament, Folketinget, including meetings with Danish politicians.

All lectures and tours are free of charge and will be conducted in English.

Take part in local volunteer services and become a larger part of the Danish society

Taking part in local volunteer opportunities – where Danish language skills are not a requirement – is both fun and rewarding. While having fun you will slowly discover that you have become a larger part of the Danish society.

Besides the personal and social gains, volunteer work can also expand your professional network and be your first step towards an ordinary job in Denmark.
