Friends

When we start going to school,

We gradually start getting accustomed with the rules.

Slowly, we start making friends,

Who stay beside us in all odds and evens.

They help us, care for us, and love us very much,

We are free from all our worries when we feel their soothing touch.

They are the people, who keep us alive.

They are the fuel that helps us drive.

Many a times, we are hurt by their behaviors

But they themselves are the ones who console our tears

But some people betray us and break out ‘TRUST’

Lose the ‘T’ and make the entire friendship only ‘RUST’!

Life is like a thick book,

We’ll find friendship wherever we look.

How many pages ever we may flip,

In one or the other, we’re sure to find friendship.

Sometimes we quarrel, and sometimes we fight,

But in school we grow restless without their sight.

When life is full of darkness

They’re the beaming light that brings a smile on our face.

They are our only companions in life’s long race,

There are some friends who make a deep signature in our hearts and leave their trace.

They help us pass in each and every test,

Friends are the people who make our life the best.

Friends…are the spice of our life,

The ‘F’ without which ‘LIFE’ is just a ‘LIE’.
