07/12/17 San Antonio, TX 1240 Babcock Rd.—
companies of the 8th Battalion were dispatched to a
reported Structure Fire in the 1240blk of Babcock Rd,
on the cities N.W. side. Engine 27 checked on scene
and reported smoke showing and upgraded the alarm to
a working fire. Engine 27 laid a preconnect and found
heavy content within the apartment, with moderate fire.
Engine 19 staged on a "plug" upon arrival, and BC 8-0
assumed command. Crews made quick work of the
small fire and held it to the room and apartment of
origin. The cause was said to be from unattended
incense burning. Companies on the ticket were EN27,
EN19, EN32, EN15, PL31, TK37, M37, MOF2,
MAC07, and BC08.
