The Masters... it's not too late

Don’t forget that your last chance to apply for the Masters Programme this year is 16th April. You can find all the information about the Programme on the Masters Hub on NAU.

All about the Masters:

The course is specifically designed for teachers and administrators in Nord Anglia Education schools. By combining critical engagement with theory and evidence and opportunities for participants to share and learn from one another’s experiences of working in international schools, the MA will help you to rethink the challenges and opportunities facing you in the context of globalisation, cultural diversity and technological development.

The MA is unique in bringing together King’s College London’s international leadership in education research and Nord Anglia Education’s global network of international schools. Using innovative approaches to online and blended learning, you will study in tutor groups with participants in your global region and with academics at the forefront of their fields, including:

· Curriculum development

· Educational assessment

· Intercultural education

· Language acquisition

· Educational leadership

· Education business management

· Teacher education

· Education research methods.

Your preparation for teaching sessions will include formative tasks which build up to summative assignments, such as a literature review of an issue in international education, a case study of your school’s policies and practices, a marketing plan for an educational business or product, or a presentation reviewing a book about international education. Your MA programme will culminate in an education research project whose aim will be to inform policies and practices in your international context.

The ultimate goal of the MA is to enhance your research and analytic skills and your professional practices as a foundation for further career development in a school with an international composition and ethos.

We hope you decide to apply.
