The Global Campus team is collaborating with teachers and students in the development of projects and online content that supports and extends the learning students are receiving in school. GC Fellows are supporting the growth of activities on GC Online – meet them on NAU and GC Online. As a professional development opportunity, if you have any ideas for learning activities for GC Online, please do get in touch with our GC Fellows via subject specific forums and/or the GC Community on NAU.

We want GC Online to not only be a useful platform for students to interact and connect with one another on a global scale, but to also act as a resource for teachers to utilise in the classroom to support the amazing work you already do. Both students and teachers have identified a lack of awareness of GC Online. As we grow our Global Campus campaign to help ensure students have a greater awareness of their entitlement as a Nord Anglia student, we need your support to signpost students to GC Online. The more engagement from students and teachers on GC Online, the more we can ensure we are providing a platform that meets yours and your students’ needs.

We have recently added some new learning materials and activities, which we hope will bring opportunities for students to connect with one another and to engage further with Nord Anglia’s collaborations with Juilliard, MIT and UNICEF. We encourage each of you to engage your students in these online activities and to provide feedback for how we can better support students’ learning and collaboration as part of a global family. New activities are up in the following areas: STEAM, the Global Goals, Model United Nations, Juilliard’s Music Core Works and Ask the Artist, and the Global Library.

If you are successfully utilising GC Online in your classroom and are keen to let other teachers know more, we would love to hear from you! Please feel free to contact me to learn more!
