IBS Church Chinese Culture Event
Since mid-January, NC State and the community looked forward
to celebrating the approaching Chinese New Year; many invited our
CI to partner in celebration events. Our CI partnered with NC State’s
International Bridge (IBS) to host the Chinese New Year Festival on
January 24th. During this big festival, CI staffs helped people trace and
write Chinese calligraphy, taught them how to make good luck red
envelopes and cut out Chinese characters. This unique Chinese culture
and art event attracted many church friends. A member of IBS gave an
introduction to China and shared his experiences in China. Audiences
were captivated by his experiences as if they were traveling in China
too. This successful event brought joy and harmony to all attendees.

随着中国新年的临近，学校内外的组织团体都盼
望能举办庆祝中国新年的相关活动。受州大

组织之邀，北卡州大孔院老师和该组织的成员们
一起欢庆新春。老师们指导大家临摹中国书法，并且教
授大家制作具有中国特色的红包和剪纸。所有人都被这
别具韵味的中国文化和艺术深深吸引

成员为大家介绍了中国概况和自己在中国的体会，大家
都聚精会神的聆听着，仿佛置身于这个美丽的国度之
中。整个活动轻松而愉快，大家一起度过了一段美好的
时光。
