CHINESE LANGUAGE

COURSES

NEW CURRICUM
& SCHEDULES
During the spring semester
of 2014, building on previous
success and consideration
for future development, our
CI made some modifications
to the curriculum of
language courses to best
serve our students. The
Chinese language courses
were further divided into 5
levels (there were 3 before):
Introductory Chinese,
Elementary Chinese (I),
Elementary Chinese (II),
Intermediate Chinese, and
Advanced Conversation.
Detailed descriptions about
each course were developed
to help make the curriculum
more systematic and
consistent. This modification
catered to the specific needs
of each Chinese learner and
encouraged them to keep
learning Chinese.
