Chinese New Year at Heritage High School
As one of the HSK test centers and a collaborative partner
on many activities and programs, Heritage High School
maintained a close working relationship with our CI. To show
our appreciation to Heritage’s notable Chinese teaching efforts
and great support, our CI staffs attended their Chinese New
Year celebration on February 28th. In this evening event, CI
staffs performed Taichi and fan dance, which brought Chinese
New Year spirits to more than a hundred students and teachers.
First our CI staffs fan danced to “the Beautiful Taihu Lake”.
This beautiful performance received big applauses from the
audiences. Three CI teachers demonstrated the 24 moves of
Taichi and impressed everyone. After the performances, Ms.
Liu, the lead Chinese teacher at Heritage High School, gave CI
her sincere appreciation and welcomed us to do more Chinese
cultural demonstrations at their school in the near future.
作为北卡州大HSK中学考点之一，海瑞特高中和州大孔院一直
保持着良好的合作关系。多年来该校一直积极参加孔院主办的各种
汉语推广及文化宣传活动，并在汉语教学方面取得了丰硕的成果。应
该校之邀
，也为了表示对他们杰出工作的肯定和支持，2月28号晚，孔
院全体老师来到该校送去精彩表演 和一百多名师生欢度新春佳节。

孔院的老师首先表演了民族舞蹈
《太湖美》
，随着舞曲的响起

老师们手持大绸扇翩翩起舞，绸扇在老师们的手中时而变成团花拥
簇，时而变成红浪波动，台下学生纷纷为这动人的舞蹈鼓掌称赞。

位孔院老师还为大家表演了杨氏二十四式太极拳，太极拳舒缓的节
奏、刚柔并济的拳法、动静结合的意态都给在场观众留下了深刻的印
象。

中交流展示中国传统文化艺术
