Raleigh International Festival 罗利第 26 届国际节
The weekend of September 30- October 2 was the 26th annual Raleigh International Festival where over the 3 days more than 25,000 people visited the festival. This 3 day celebration was an excellent opportunity for people to see the art and culture from many cultures around the world, taste their delicious foods, and observe the beautiful performances presented by the ethnic volunteers. The CI had a booth where we showcased our Confucius Classroom, upcoming cultural events, had a sign up sheet for the interested visitors.
We also encouraged everyone to
sign up for Chinese Online and awarded enthusiasts with gifts.
第二十五届罗利国际节于 9 月 30 日至 10 月 2 日在罗利会议中心举 行 。 今年参展的民族团体有 52 个, 估计有 25,000 名参观者 。 除 了不同族裔的文化展示和工艺品 销售外, 还有一些非盈利机构参 与展示 。 北卡州立大学孔子学院 的中方院长丁建宁博士和外方副 院长林安娜女士亲临现场, 带领 孔院教师为游客讲解中国文化, 介绍孔院的课程和文化交流活 动, 并给游客派发精美的小礼 品 。
Introduction to Chinese Workshop for SKEMA Students
On October 13, the Confucius Institute at NC State collaborated with SKEMA Business School to host a workshop on Chinese language, more than 20 SKEMA students attended the workshop. SKEMA( School of Knowledge Economy and Management) is now the largest French business school in terms of students, and second in number of teachers, and fifth in terms of budget. In January 2011, SKEMA just opened a new campus in Raleigh, North Carolina in cooperation with NC State University. Our Confucius Institute is extremely honored to have the opportunity to host this 2 hour workshop to jump start SKEMA student’ s journey to learning Chinese language and culture. During the workshop, a quick introduction to basic Chinese language was given, and our instructor helped familiarize students with Chinese Pinyin as well as answered all the questions. In the upcoming Spring 2012 semester, CI will be opening a ― Doing Business in China ‖ course specifically for the SKEMA students. This15-credit-hour course will be added as an elective and we are anticipating more
than 200 students to register.

经济与管理学院) 是当今世界学 生最多的法国商学院, 教师人数 位居第二, 财政状况位居第五 。 2011 年 1 月, SKEMA 与北卡州大合 作并在罗利开设了新的校园 。 孔 子学院非常荣幸能有机会主持这 2 个小时的研讨会, 开启 SKEMA 学 生学习中文和中国文化的里程 。 在研讨会期间, 我们的老师简单 介绍了中文的基础知识, 并帮助 学生实习中文拼音 。 在未来的 2012 年春季学期, 孔子学院将会 为 SKEMA 的学生专门开设“ 在中 国经商” 的课程 。 这是一个 15 学 时的课程, 将会作为选修课, 可 能会有 200 多名学生选修这门课 。

FLANC Conference 北卡罗莱纳州外语教学年会
On October 14, two members of the Confucius Institute at NC State participated in the Foreign Language Association of North Carolina annual conference, which took place in the beautiful city of Winston-Salem. Addressing the theme of ― Chinese Language Teaching and Teacher Development,‖ the members of CI delivered a presentation highlighting CI’ s new projects, including the newly established Chinese Language Teacher Association of North Carolina, Chinese Licensure Program, and other support and training workshops for local Chinese teachers. The Confucius Institute actively promote language and culture events such as
the Chinese Speech and Writing Contest in the community. Participants in this year’ s conference spoke highly of CI’ s presentation expressing that it was both informative and practical.

语教学与教师的资源与活动, 如 网络孔子学院 、 北卡中文演讲比 赛和北卡中文写作比赛等 。 演讲 得到与会者的高度评价, 表示这 样的演讲信息量大, 具有实用 性 。 期待明年年会再次相聚 。
