Mid-Autumn Festival 2011 孔院师生庆祝中秋节
The Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated on Centennial Campus, NCSU, on September 12, 2011. The Confucius Institute at NC state wanted to introduce
the students to some Chinese culture. During the celebration, students had the opportunity to learn the traditional ways of celebrating the festival while trying different snacks and practicing saying Chinese Mid- Autumn Festival greetings. Students also had a chance to listen to some traditional Chinese music relating to the topic of full moon.
2011 年北卡州大孔子学院中秋庆 祝活动于 9 月 12 日在北卡州大新 校区 Centennial Campus 举行 。 晚会从晚上 8 时开始, 持续一个 多小时 。 活动开始, 由丁建宁博 士和孔院教师刘绪华分别向学员 们简要介绍了中秋节的常识, 如 中秋的来历 、 中秋的传统庆祝方 式等, 学生们还欣赏一些关于圆 月的中国音乐 。 然后, 孔院摆放 了传统中式点心- 月饼 、 糕点 、 饮料等, 供学员们品尝 。
在这个“ 佳节倍思亲” 的日子, 孔院的中外师生其乐融融, 共同 度过了一个温馨的中秋佳节, 大
家充分感受到了我们这个大家庭 所洋溢的中美人民友谊的氛围 。
Study Abroad Fair 北卡州立大学海外学习项目推介会
Each semester we take part in the Study Abroad Fair where our Chinese language program to Nanjing Normal University has grown to be one of the most popular programs. 35 students signed up for interest in the program, The students leave for China May 16 and will study
Chinese in Nanjing for 5 weeks.
2011 年 9 月 15 日, 北卡州大一年 一度的海外学习项目推介会召开 了 。 为了让更多的州大学生了解 孔院开展的中国学习项目, 孔院
也在推介会场设立了一个展台, 向咨询者介绍文化交流活动, 并
派发小书签 。 孔子学院组织的暑 期南京师范大学中文学习班成为 今年学生选择的热点项目, 有 35
人在网上报名 。 选择参加此项学 习活动的学生将在孔子学院汉语
教师的带领下于 5 月 18 日起程, 开始为期 5 周的中国之行 。

Southeast Chinese Language Association Conference
The Southeast Chinese Language Association( SECLA) serves as a forum for Confucius Institutes, Confucius Classrooms, and Chinese language educators to share experiences, exchange ideas, and improve the practice and teaching pedagogy. This year’ s conference was hosted by Presbyterian College with the location rotating each year. NC State was one of the founding members along with nine other Confucius
Institutes in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. NC State took 8 people to attend the conference and Anna Lamm presented a paper on Confucius
Institute Management.
