Placements/Study Abroad/
International Year
Computer Science students, whether on the Single Honours
or Combined Honours course, have the opportunity to spend
a semester abroad in their second year, studying at one of
Keele’s partner universities in Europe or North America.
The Computer Science with International Year enables you to
study abroad for a year between the second and final years of
your course and will receive a degree title that recognises the
international year of study. The course provides complementary
study to the main degree and provides additional skills leading
to personal development and employability as well as an
appreciation of the international dimension of the subject.
The Computer Science with Work Placement year programme
is a formal arrangement that enables you to undertake a
placement year in industry as part of a four-year sandwich
degree. We have excellent links with employers to help
students to find placements.
