The first should be someone you consider a friend or loved one. The second, someone you dislike or consider an enemy, and lastly someone who is a stranger. This stranger should be a real person whom you have seen before, perhaps someone you see regularly at a job or school or at a store you frequent but feel neither close to nor distant from. You will also be asked to think of something good happening to each of these people and something bad happening to each of these three people. If possible, you will use the same events happening to all three. Before we begin, you may want to take a moment to think of the people and events you want to use during the practice.
