Helena Food Share- provides emergency food assistance to a broad spectrum of
individuals and families in Helena who are experiencing the difficulties of today’s
economic realities. If you are interested in getting involved with Helena Food Share
they have many opportunities for volunteer service and two annual events, The
Mardi Gras Fund Raiser in March and the Symphony Under the Stars Food Drive, in

YWCA- is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. The mission of
YWCAs across the country is to prevent homelessness, provide safe and supportive
housing for women and children experiencing homelessness, and provide services
that restore hope, self-sufficiency, and happy and healthy lives. If you are interested
in volunteering at YWCA there is an ongoing need for groups who organize and
provide meals, clean and organize the donation room, and complete site
beautification projects such as planting seeds or flowers. For more information
