FOBS
All Adventures Plus parents / guardians will use a personalized security fob to gain access to the school building during Adventures Plus program hours . During school hours , all families must enter through the school assigned door . ( A + fobs are not active during school hours .)
Two fobs are issued per account at no charge . There will be a non-refundable fee of $ 5 each for any replacement or additional fobs you may want or need . ( Maximum of four fobs per account .)
WEAPONS POLICY
In accordance with school district policy , Adventures Plus will not tolerate weapons or toy weapons on school property , school zones or while on field trips . A student in possession of a weapon or a toy weapon may be subject to suspension or termination .
PARENT / GUARDIAN QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS
If you have a suggestion , question or concern about the program , the conduct of the staff or the policies , the best course of action to take is :
1 . Talk to the site coordinator at your child ’ s site . You can call the site coordinator , leave a written message or schedule a conference . 2 . If needed , contact the Adventures Plus program coordinator in charge of your child ’ s site . The coordinator is also available for a scheduled conference upon request .
3 . If the problem is not resolved in steps one and two , contact the program supervisor . The supervisor is available for a scheduled conference by phone or in person .
DATA PRIVACY
Adventures Plus complies with state and federal data privacy laws . Information gathered from registration and medical forms is shared with the Adventures Plus staff . Information regarding families who are funded by child care assistance is shared with the County Community Services Department .
PARENT / GUARDIAN ACCESS
Parents and legal guardians will be allowed access to their child while attending the program . Adventures Plus requires families with custodial arrangements to provide a copy of legal custody agreement .
ENROLLMENT
Families register for Adventures Plus every spring for the summer and the school-year program . Currently enrolled families have the opportunity to pre-register . After currently enrolled families have registered , new families have the opportunity to register for available openings . Enrollment is completed online . The safety of your child is important to the Adventures Plus staff . It is extremely important to keep your information up to date . If you change your job , move , or change your telephone number , please log in to your Adventures Plus child care account and update information . A non-refundable registration fee of $ 30 per child per season will be assessed , up to a maximum of $ 60 / family per season .
BILLING AND INVOICES
The parent / guardian will be charged fees based upon their child care agreement , not actual attendance . The parent / guardian is responsible for all charges that are incurred , as well as all fees outlined in this parent / guardian handbook .
Payments are required when the child is not in attendance due to illness , personal reasons or inclement weather .
Payment is due on the first of each month , for the current month of care . Late payments will result in a $ 25 late fee being added to the account . Failure to pay will result in termination from the program . The program reserves the right to terminate the contract ( s ) for chronic late payments .
Auto pay can be set up by account owner in your online Eleyo account . Manual payments can also be paid online through your Eleyo account . To pay by cash or money order , you must pay in person at the central billing office .
Checks will be processed as an ACH payment .

PROGRAM FUNDING
Parent / guardian fees fund the Adventures Plus program . Adventures Plus is coordinated by the Community Education department of the Anoka-Hennepin School District .
