Fun with Dad

Spend quality time with your child ( ren ) learning and playing together . Parent discussion will examine topics through the lens of fatherhood while sharing mutual experiences , joys , and challenges with other fathers .

The Tuesday ( 7-8 pm ) class is presented in an online format ; information on how to join the class will be emailed by the teacher one week before class starts .

Setting the table , sorting socks , and playing with pots and pans are everyday activities that help develop math skills in young children . Children will explore fun activities with math each week . Managing Emotions

Young children don ’ t quite know what to do with all their big feelings . With intentional play , games , and activities , learn to support your child with their emotions — and what to do with them . A licensed parenting educator will guide parenting discussions on emotional development , dealing with big feelings , and other topics selected by group .

Ooey , Gooey Sensory

Children love to explore with their senses . Parents and children explore different kinds of sensory activities such as finger painting , play dough and glurch . Parenting discussion includes general parenting information as well as ideas to help parents and children reduce stress .

NEW ! Parenting with Positive Discipline

Learn to understand the reasons behind challenging behaviors , and how to effectively set limits and boundaries with your child in a way that shows love and respect . Discuss your child ’ s developing brain and its role in discipline , and the importance of staying connected for discipline to be most effective .

Jumpin ’ in the Gym

Come wiggle , jiggle , and jump in this fun and active class . Children can burn off some of their extra energy in the gym as they run , jump , ride , slide , swing , and climb . Besides the time jumpin ’ in the gym , we ’ ll also have fun exploring some classroom activities . A licensed parenting educator will guide parenting discussions on the power of play and other topics .
