Mixed-age classes are designed for families with one or more children , ranging in age from birth up to kindergarten . Each class includes a parent / caregiver and child time , learning activities for children , and parenting discussion time .

Mixed-age classes are separating classes which means parents / caregivers spend half of the class time together with their child and half in parenting education while the child stays with an early childhood teacher .

How many times have you heard or maybe said , “ I wish parenting came with a handbook ”? This class might just be the closest thing there is . Learn and share practical parenting tips . Discuss your child ’ s development . Parenting educator will guide discussions based on topics selected by participants . Play and learn with your child . Just like every child is different , every class is different . This is a class you can take again and again .

Through art , music , movement , and diverse tactile and texture play , your child will experience fun , hands-on learning about all five senses - sight , smell , hearing , taste , and touch .

It ’ s the perfect season to enjoy some fun , “ snowy ” indoor activities to chase away the winter blahs . In addition to child development and general parenting concerns , discussions will include stress relievers for cabin fever .
