Morning of Mindfulness
Feeling stressed? Tired of rushing around? Take
a morning for yourself to relax, slow down and
replenish.
• This mindful morning will begin with “Yoga Gentle
Stretch,” where you will move through a series
of standing and chair-only poses that stretch
mainly the upper body to feel loose, relaxed and
energized.
• Learn how to “Keep Stress from Becoming
Anxiety,” a life-changing workshop where you will
learn coping skills and strategies for reducing and
eliminating your stress.
• Relax and let your creativity surface with
“Watercolor Wellness,” a class using watercolor
pencils to bring your creativity to life.
• End the morning with a a 30-minute guided
meditation to calm your mind, settle your body,
and bring contentment to your heart. A perfect
morning to share with a friend or family member!
Opioid overdose is a growing problem around the country
and in Minnesota. It’s hitting people both young and old, and
has recently shown to be affecting our economy. Learn about
current opiates on the street and prescribed opiates. Recognize
symptoms of a person that’s under the influence of opiates
and whether it’s an overdose. Get informed on Steve’s Law,
Minnesota’s Good Samaritan Law. Class fee: $39.

Sound bath is a unique way to guide your body into a super
deep state of relaxation incorporating the decades old method
of Tibetan singing bowls. Instructor will show you how to relax in
style with your own sound concert. Bring a yoga mat and dress
in something comfortable. Class fee: $39.

Tai Chi for Balance and Wellness
Tai Chi is a gentle healing art that provides many internal and
external benefits. Learn movements while slowly practicing in a
standing position to become more present in your surroundings
and aware of how you are using your body. Acceptable for all
regardless of age, ability or current level of health. Instructor is
certified in Tai Chi and has over 12 years teaching experience.
Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes. Not meeting February
19 and March 12. Class fee: $69.
