Learn how to preserve your gardens bounty. Practice using‘ hot water bath’ techniques that can be used for various canning projects. Prepare a batch of jelly and take home one to two jars to enjoy. Instructor, Carol Schaub, will demonstrate how to use a pressure cooker and a food dehydrator to preserve your harvest. Samples and recipes provided. Supply fee of $ 8 paid to instructor at class. Travel the streets of Vietnam as you enjoy an authentic Vietnamese dinner. You will make pho( a spicy broth-based soup with noodles, chicken and vegetables), fresh shrimp spring rolls, nuoc cham( the quintessential dipping sauce) and che chuoi xao dua( a dessert of caramelized bananas).
