Designed for expectant or new grandparents. Learn what has
changed with caring for a child since you were in the trenches.
Discuss feeding, sleeping arrangements, car seats, home safety,
illness and setting boundaries. Students will also be certified in
infant CPR as part of this class. Class fee: $45 one; $75 two.

FAMILY FUN
Hayride at Bunker Park Stables
Gather your family and friends and pile on for a fun-filled hayride
pulled by a team of gentle draft horses. Check-in between
6-6:30 p.m. Start out your evening enjoying a bonfire and then
finish off the night with a hayride from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dress
appropriately for the weather. Class held at Bunker Park Stables
in Andover. Children under three years old are free. Class fee:
$15 per person.

Howling with the Wolves
Join us at the Wildlife Science Center, the area’s premier wildlife
facility, to learn about some of Minnesota’s most fascinating
animals. Resident wolves, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, lynx
and raptors will be the focus of this informative program around
the campfire. Check-in: 6-6:30 p.m., program 6:30-9 p.m. At
the conclusion of the program, toast marshmallows and enjoy a
drink while the wolves fill the darkness with their incredible wild
song. Class held at Wildlife Science Center in Stacy. Class fee:
$19 per person.

Trail Ride at Bunker Park Stables
No experience is necessary to enjoy the natural beauty of Bunker
Hills Regional Park from horseback. Bunker Park Stables staff
will assist you in mounting, dismounting and will provide brief
riding and safety instructions prior to departure. Your guide is
extensively trained and experienced. Helmets are required for trail
riders under 18. Riding helmets are available at no cost for all trail
riders. Camera and cell phone use are not permitted on the trail
ride. Ride rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Check-in is from
5:45-6:15 p.m., trail ride from 6:15-7:15 p.m. Parent/child class
for ages eight and up and 52 in. or taller in height. Class held at
Bunker Park Stables in Andover. Class fee: $35 per person.
