Artisan Breads-A Taste of the Old and New
Fearless Pressure Cooking
Take the mystery out of homemade yeast breads. Learn to make
healthful choices using a wide range of whole grains and brans.
Explore how you can incorporate ancient grains such as teff,
spelt and kamut in your loaves, buns and crescent rolls. Leave
with knowledge and the ability to make these tasty yeast breads
on your own, adapting them to support your family’s tastes and
needs. Both demonstration and hands-on class. Supply fee of $9

Autumn is a terrific time to discover the advantages of the
contemporary pressure cooker. Learn four rules for safe stovetop
pressure cooking and be prepared to roll out delicious, quick
meals. Cook fried chickpeas in eleven minutes, navy beans in
three, cheesecake in twelve, risotto in seven and juicy pot roast
in under an hour. The quick and dependable pressure cooker is a
staple pantry item. Extensive handouts provided. Taste all that you
cook. This is a hands-on class. Bring a stovetop pressure cooker
if you have one; not required. Supply fee of $12 cash paid to

Cake Decorating-Beginner

Take ordinary and make it extraordinary! Learn how to decorate
your own cakes for special occasions. Create a rose, drop flowers
and leaves. Learn how to print and more! Decorate three cakes
over the five-week class. This is a hands-on class. Additional
supplies are needed; they will be discussed and may be purchased
at the first class session ($30 and up). Not meeting Oct. 18 and
Nov. 8. Class fee: $49.

and easy to do fondue! You will engage in making mouth watering
gruyere fondue with caramelized shallots, garlic shrimp fondue,
fondue bourguignonne (white wine fondue), and finish with caramel
cognac fondue. Learn to make several dipping sauces. Bring a
fondue pot and fuel if you have one. Supply fee of $14 paid to the

There is nothing better than a home cooked Indian-style feast to
warm your taste buds. Learn to make chicken curry, subzi masala,

several countries including Thailand, Japan, China and Vietnam.
Begin with Thailand’s classic chicken noodle soup, Tom Kha
Ghai. Move on to Japan’s made from scratch miso glazed shrimp
and edamame salad with sesame, a miso dressing. Continue to
mainland China for its infamous vegetable lo mein! End your tour
with fresh dessert spring rolls paired with mint-lemon sauce from
