Romantic Dance Workshop
Ballroom Dance-Beginner
Practice steps and turns in popular ballroom dances, including
swing, waltz, foxtrot, salsa, and more. Enjoy dancing to music
frequently played at weddings and most social gatherings. This
is the perfect course for anyone getting married or preparing for
an upcoming event. Have a fun-filled weekly date while acquiring
a skill to last a lifetime. Dance moves are easy and you’re sure to
be successful! Teens and adults of all ages welcome! Come with
or without a partner. Couples dance with own partner. Singles
rotate with other singles. Couples must register individually. Not
meeting February 17. Class fee: $55.

Country Waltz
Learn the basics of Country Waltz! This dance resembles
Ballroom Waltz, but uses passing footwork and is danced to
Country Western music. This partner dance is a great hobby to
get you out and moving and is a nice way to connect socially
with others. Partners encouraged. Carol Brecht-Wiles has been
making dance fun for 20 years. Wear shoes without rubber soles
or your cowboy boots. Class fee: $35 one; $45 two.

Latin Dance Sampler
Spice up the dance floor with this Latin dance class, whether
it’s for your winter tropical vacation or for learning more dance
steps. This class will include fun basic patterns and partnership
connection in the vibrant Salsa and the charming Cha-Cha. Wear
hard-soled shoes (if possible), partner encouraged. Instructor,
Carol Brecht-Wiles, has been making dance fun for more than
20 years. Class fee: $35 one; $45 two.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so why not start the
romance early? This workshop takes your old swing and sway
dance and spices it up with simple, romantic moves. You’ll be
spinning, turning and swirling together before you know it and
you’ll feel comfortable in any setting! By the end of the evening,
you won’t want to let go! Wear closed-toe shoes. Couples only

NEW | The Git Up Dance
Blanco Brown’s relentlessly catchy hit, “The Git Up,” inspired
the step-by-step dance where you do the two step, then the
cowboy-boogie. Super fun! Super easy! Come and learn the
latest dance that has everyone out on the floor. No partner
needed for a fun way to get some exercise and enjoy the music.

Two-Left Feet
Convinced that you have two-left feet and that dancing is not
meant for you? It doesn’t take much: a couple of fun turns, a
fancy walk to show off your partner and easy tricks to maneuver
around the dance floor. Sample a variety of dance styles and gain
the confidence to dance the night away. Couples only please!

Intro to Blues Harmonica
Join solo country blues artist, Chris Holm, for hands-on blues
harmonica playing. Discover the basics in holding the harmonica,
playing using a lip pursing style and get a brief introduction to
basic blues harmonica music theory. Leave class knowing how to
select your next harmonica, play simple melodies and be able to
play along to a 12 bar blues pattern. Bring your ten-hole diatonic
harmonica in the key of “C.” Class fee: $59.
