55+ Defensive Driving (8-hour new)
Every five seconds a crash occurs and every 12 minutes someone
dies in a traffic crash. Update your driving skills while becoming
eligible to receive a 10 percent discount on your car insurance.
Bring a bag lunch for the full-day class. Include your name as it
appears on your driver’s license and driver’s license number with

Harbor Sunset Canvas
Create your very own painted 12 in. x 16 in. stretched canvas
piece. Participate in step-by-step instruction to produce an acrylic
painting depicting a sail boat quietly floating on a harbor at sunset.

Gentle Yoga for Boomers
Gentle Yoga is perfect for boomers and seniors. You will move
through seated and standing, traditional and modified yoga
poses with additional focus on stretching, flexibility, balance, and
restorative breathing promoting stress reduction and relaxation.
This class is shoe and joint friendly and you do not get down
on mats. Dress in comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.
Class fee: $45.
NEW | Kayaking
This hands-on beginner class is set up to teach the basics of
kayaking from qualified instructors. Paddlers will learn about safety,
proper paddling form, and paddle strokes all while surrounded by
the beauty of a nature-based park. All equipment provided. See
web site for recommended attire. Class held at Fish Lake Regional
Park in Maple Grove. Class fee: $45.

Raised Bed & Container Gardening
With a few containers or raised beds you can grow fresh
vegetables and herbs, even with limited space and sunlight. We
will discuss container sizes, bed construction, soil preparation as
well as plant varieties to consider. Come with a list of questions
and leave with a plan for your dream garden. Class fee: $25.
