A fun and interactive introduction to the world of finance and
accounting. What is the “top line” and the “bottom line?” If you’d
like to be more comfortable with financial terms, this fun and
interactive introduction to finance and accounting is for you! Gain
an overview of basic accounting principles and explore two key
financial documents-the income statement and the balance sheetusing companies you can relate to as examples. In accounting
you learn by doing, so we’ll use a variety of approaches including
individual/group work, pop quizzes and crossword puzzles to get
comfortable with the subject matter. Financial background not
necessary. Class fee: $25.
