Making the Most of Your Android Tablet
Looking (and working) a lot like super-sized smartphones,
tablets are a great way to access the Internet, play games and
communicate. Although they fit in your hands and are light enough
to carry around, they can do a lot of the very same things your
computer can do. Learn how to get the most out of your tablet.
This hands-on class will show you functions you use on a daily
basis and offer you the tools to learn more advanced tricks at your
own pace. Designed specifically for new tablet users. Bring your
Android tablet. Class fee: $25 one; $39 two.

Microsoft Office Essentials Part 1-Word & Excel
Begin your Microsoft Office training with Word and Excel. In Word,
learn to enter, edit and manage text using font, paragraph and
line spacing settings. Get organized by using bullet and number
lists plus table features. Proof your documents with spell/grammar
check, as well as insert pictures and art features to enhance your
documents and text. In Excel, learn how to manage the Excel
environment by creating projects such as budgets, reports, a
checkbook register and address lists. Learn to edit and manage
columns/rows, change text and number formats to make your
projects look and function well. Create your own formulas, as well
as use sum, average, count, min and max functions to create an
auto-calc environment with your projects. Prerequisite: Computer
Essentials 101 or strong equivalent. Class fee: $149.

QuickBooks
QuickBooks can make your bookkeeping both manageable and
efficient. In this introductory class, you will learn some of the great
features of QuickBooks 2013 Pro. Get started on this easy-to-use,
time-saving accounting software. Class is held in a computer lab
using QuickBooks 2013 Pro. Prerequisite: Familiarity with Windows.
Class held at Administrative Freedom in Ramsey (residential area).
Class fee: $89.
