Mother’s Day Tea
Begin a tradition by treating Mom to an evening of fun and
relaxation. Enjoy specially prepared tea and foods at the historic
Ticknor Hill Bed and Breakfast in Anoka. Take home recipes and

Ready to Roll Sushi
Learn the simple way of sushi making and get rolling in no time!
Enjoy a jasmine tea and learn to make four different types of sushi
with everyday ingredients and tools. Make a vegetarian sushi
roll, cosmopolitan sushi roll that has a little bit of everything for
everyone in one roll, a seafood sushi and finish with a dessert
sushi. Prepare sushi rice the right and easy way and complimentary
dipping sauces. Come with an appetite and leave as a sushi expert.
Instructor, Anu Seshadri, provides all the supplies for this hands-on
class. Class fee: $55.

children districtwide
Nothing beats a homemade pie or tart! Served hot or cold, loaded
with fruit or bursting with cream, a homemade pie is scrumptious.
Mix and match your favorite fruits and berries for tasty tarts. Learn
the secrets to a lattice top, pucker up for a classic lemon meringue
pie, and sample a variety of creations in class. Instructor, Laurel
Severson, will share her wonderful recipes to tempt you and your
family along with tips to ensure success every time. This is a handson class. Bring a container. Supply fee of $9 cash paid to instructor
at class. Class fee: $29.
