Examine things like lithophane , trench art , U . S . Zone china , a U . S . 3 cent nickel , precious gemstones , mourning jewelry & German silver . No pictures or books in this class , everything is “ hands on ”. Bring one item , no larger than a shoe box to the first class , research its value on your own with the research tools you ’ ve been given , then compare your results with the appraiser ’ s at the second class . Everything You Need to Know to Write and Publish a Book ( Hybrid class )
The class will be an overview of everything needed to write a book . We will discuss how to take your idea from conception to the organizing of ideas to structure and plot . We will discuss choosing a title , subtitle , cover , and the different options for publishing , as well as time frames , expected cost , and any other questions that come up in this regard . This is a hybrid class which is being taught in-person and online .
