Enjoy an afternoon in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District at Able Seedhouse and Brewery . Head Brewer Matt Anhalt will discuss the different styles of beer and why they taste like they do . Each participant will receive four half pints throughout the afternoon while Matt describes and explains the differences in the beer . 21 + event .

Celebrate fall German-style with “ sauerbraten ,” a tender pot roast in a tangy sweet and sour sauce ; beef rouladen stuffed with pickles , bacon and onion in red wine sauce ; pork blade steak braised in sauerkraut and wiener schnitzel ; and chicken tenders lightly breaded and sauteed with fresh squeezed lemon and herbs . Learn to prepare “ spaetzle ” ( German pasta ), potato pancakes , “ kartoffelkloesse ” ( German dumplings ) and braised red cabbage . We ’ ll finish with black forest cake . Participants are welcome to bring containers to take home , the instructor will show how to wrap food to-go . This is a demonstration class .
