Curling Clinic
Play the hottest sport on ice in a fun, friendly environment that
introduces you to the thrill of curling. Instructional session teaches
you the basics of curling while learning physical play, rules, and
strategy. Within minutes you are throwing rocks and sweeping.
Finish off the class playing a mini game. This Olympic sport is low
impact, with many health and social benefits. Enjoy camaraderie
with fellow curlers, as is curling tradition, with optional food
and refreshments available for purchase. See website for
recommended attire. Class held at Four Seasons Curling Club
in Blaine. Class fee: $15.

techniques to improve your current skills. Instructed by golf course
pros. Class held at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. Bring
clubs each session if you have them; clubs are provided for free if
you don’t have your own. A range fee of $15 is payable at the first
session. Class fee: $29.

Heard the word, but not sure what geocaching is? Introduce
yourself to geocaching and learn how to use GPS units to find
hidden caches located throughout Wargo’s peninsula. Venture out
and find caches both with the group and individually with Wargo
Nature Center staff. Mix nature with technology as you explore the
trails. For adults and families with children age twelve and older.
