HDR
Maximize the benefits of the technology within your digital SLR
camera. Go from taking pictures to making pictures and free
yourself from auto mode. Learn everything from handling your
camera to tackling tough shooting scenarios. Gain hands-on
experience with four classroom sessions (including basic photo
editing) and two weekend field trips. Bring a digital SLR or digital
camera with removable lenses to each class. Class fee: $109.
High Dynamic Range (HDR) creates beautiful images with
unimaginable detail you always thought impossible. HDR is
achieved by capturing and then combining different exposures
of the same subject matter and placing them all together. The
resulting image has extraordinary tonal range that produces a
picture that a single shot can’t produce. Learn the different types
of HDR photography, HDR terminology, pros and cons of HDR
and leave with images put together to make a remarkable shot.
Two classroom, two field trip sessions. Not meeting Oct. 15.
Class fee: $65.
