Go from taking pictures to making pictures and free yourself from auto mode. Learn everything from handling your camera to tackling tough shooting scenarios. Gain hands-on experience with four classroom sessions (including basic photo editing) and two weekend field trips. Bring a digital SLR or digital camera with removable lenses to each class. Class fee: $109. High Dynamic Range (HDR) creates beautiful images with unimaginable detail you always thought impossible. HDR is achieved by capturing and then combining different exposures of the same subject matter and placing them all together. The resulting image has extraordinary tonal range that produces a picture that a single shot can’t produce. Learn the different types of HDR photography, HDR terminology, pros and cons of HDR and leave with images put together to make a remarkable shot. Two classroom, two field trip sessions.
