Mission Statement
The MAE Organization aims to promote healing and mental wellness for at-risk individuals and those affected by homelessness by providing essential needs like food and shelter , along with therapeutic services focused on holisitic individual wellness .

Mae Organization was founded in 2008 by Martinha Javid and has been operating with a board of volunteers to combat mental illness in the homeless population through innovative holistic methods .
We provide essential resources like food , shelter , housing and clothing while offering mental wellness through Reiki , equine therapy , mindfulness and more . Our Education Program empowers individuals with workshops on financial literacy , nutrition , self-care and beyond .

MISSION Statement
Save The Bay ’ s mission is to protect and improve Narragansett Bay and its 1,705-square-mile watershed . Through advocacy , education and habitat restoration , the organization works toward its vision of a fishable , swimmable Narragansett Bay , accessible to all .
Background Concerned citizens founded Save The Bay in 1970 , after defeating a series of proposals that threatened Narragansett Bay . Their work began a tradition of grassroots advocacy that remains core to our work today .
Brag Lines Over 50,000 visitors visited Save The Bay ’ s Hamilton Family Aquarium in Newport during its first six months . Additionally , over two summer months , Save The Bay staff offered 26 public camps for 576 campers for various age groups from kindergarten through high school .
Pay it Forward When you become a Save The Bay member , you become part of a community of passionate advocates dedicated to protecting and improving the heart of Rhode Island : Narragansett Bay .
