June appreciation shout outs
Name Club Nominator Reason
Jess Ward
Worcestershire
Elsa-Marie
Evans
Jess is a fantastic role model for females in Worcestershire , working as Club Development Officer for the South & West of the county and also as a coach developer . In 2019 Jess successfully ran an all female ECB Foundation I Coach course and has since kept in touch regularly through a WhatsApp group for the women to share hints , tips and CPD opportunities , especially during a tough 2020 summer where few of our volunteers actually coached . Jess was instrumental in keeping morale up within the group . In 2021 we are launching our new female volunteer plan for Worcestershire called Step Forward . Jess will take lead of the coaching part of the programme , running the ECB Support Coach programme and further CPD modules moving forward as we continue to build a strong and successful female workforce in Worcestershire .

She has recently passed ECB Foundation I Coach as Daisy would like to put back into the system and share her love for the game with her Junior members at her club , but is also very active with the All Stars and Dynamos programme at her club . She is very passionate about the game and a great example to the youngsters but also to her peers at County level . I am very happy to nominate Daisy for her continuous hard work and enthusiasm shown in her coaching .
Terry Lynch
Kineton CC
Haydn Dunant
Terry moved to Warwickshire just 18 months ago and has single-handedly started a women ' s softball section at our club . From the first week when just three ladies turned up , he has inspired many more to get involved . The group now regularly numbers over 20 players with ages ranging from mid teens to high 50s ! This summer the squad are playing in five festivals and we are hosting our own event later in June when eight teams will be participating , The ladies have named themselves " Terry ' s Tigers " in recognition of the work that Terry has put in . His enthusiasm is both infectious and motivating in equal measures . Terry is also hugely supported by his wife , Mary , who attends every training session and helps with the organisation and planning . Both deserve commendation for their tireless efforts .
