Emma Royle |
Stockport Trinity CC |
Richard Higginbotham |
Emma has been coaching at Trinity for a number of years . Her efforts and the time she is willing to put in have been a massive factor in us being able to increase the amount of cricket that we are able to offer to our juniors . She has taken a leading role in delivery of our All Stars programme and frequently leads age group teams in matches . The fact that Emma is a successful female cricketer and senior player in our Women ' s XI only paints part of the impression that she leaves on our junior cricketers . Her approach to achieving this success - hard work and practice - is a great example to all of our young cricketers . |
Ellen McGowan |
Upton CC |
Matt Owen |
For her exceptional commitment to the start of the season . She has included girls in her u11s team and also been working hard alongside other coaches to increase both girls U13 and u15 opportunities . She has inspired others to play in our senior ladies side and is a true asset to the club ! On top of her coaching , she has also encouraged other members of our ladies team to come down and coach with her . Both the ladies she has brought down are now competing or looking to complete coaching badges . Ellen is a brilliant coach and we at Upton are lucky to have her ! |
Cheryl Waites |
North East Cheshire CC |
Huw Ricketts |
Cheryl has inspired girls and women in the community to try cricket . NECCC has 250 u5s to u18s registered for 2021 , with 25 % being female . A lot of this success is down to Cheryl ' s efforts . She leads by example , encouraging people to give a new spot a go . |
Bedford CC |
Vicki Barrett |
The women ’ s section of Bedford CC only exists because of Shirley ’ s dedication and passion for women in cricket . She has grown it from nothing , through softball festivals , to a softball team through to the beginnings of hardball cricket this season . She is a constant and vocal advocate at the club for women in the game , despite the many and varied challenges along the way . She is a role model for emerging female coaches and players within the club and firmly believes in ‘ cricket is for everyone ’. |
Emma Whittle |
Frodsham CC |
Peter O ’ Grady |
Emma has relentlessly given all her spare time to rebuilding the junior section at Frodsham CC . Emma found passion for Cricket when her youngest son , who is Autistic , expressed an interest . Her older son soon followed . She absorbed herself with the game fully , even trying her hand at scoring ! We have seen an increase in female junior at our club , and Emma is being asked to set up a women ’ s section . The juniors see her as an encouraging and motivating person . Emma is someone who found cricket in her 40s and is still learning . Most importantly she wants the best for the whole junior squad and she is a passion advocate for diversity . Frodsham cricket would not be the same now without her . |
