June appreciation shout outs 5
Name Club Nominator Reason
Hannah Crisp
Bromley Town CC
Remi Chea
Hannah has been a beacon for parents and coaches alike , to reignite junior cricket over the last few seasons at the Town . Despite having a busy schedule and always working voluntarily four sessions a week - Hannah brings joy to her coaching and prioritises the kids happiness and development which has helped the Town grow and compete with the other bigger clubs around . This season especially which I want to especially congratulate her on - is that with limited resource , Hannah has introduced girls-only Dynamo sessions to the Town and the result is the group wanting to form their own softball team - which will compete in their first tournament in August . The girls cannot wait ! She ’ s demonstrated incredible leadership to guide a new set of junior coaches through of which she should be incredibly proud , as I am of her .
Fran Winn
Millhouses Works CC
Dave Sampson
She has taken charge of a newly formed womens section , takes coaching sessions , formed a team and is already getting results .
Emma Cowdrill

Graham
Dodswortth
Emma has worked extremely hard over the last 15 years to get girls and Ladies cricket going . She with the county board has developed a programme for young female cricketers to attend , scoring umpiring courses , assist in training sessions and run / assist in All Stars .
Anna Robertson
Herefordshire
Jodie Slater
If you say women and girls cricket in Hereford , Anna ’ s name is the first that comes to mind . She coaches and manages all three county teams , u11 , u13 and u15 as well as playing for Brockhampton and helping organise fixtures for them , she does this in her spare time , as she teaches at the blind college . She has been an amazing role model for the young girls of Hereford for many years now .
Bonnie Stevens
Puddletown Wagtails CC
James Mitchell
Bonnie has grown Puddletown womens section from zero in 2018 to over 45 members in 2021 , with over three teams playing and it is now the largest ladies section in Dorset .
Fiona Beardwell
Linton Park CC
Kieron Walsh
Fiona is an inspiration for the young cricketers at Linton Park Colts . She coaches the softball and Incrediball teams and supports the All Stars and Dynamos programmes . Fiona has strong family ties to the club with three generations playing for the club . Thanks to her enthusiasm and dedication , she will has shared her love of the game with numerous young players .
Kim Davies
Wallasey CC
Andrew Ward
Kim recently joined the club this year after moving up from Cambridge . Since she has joined , she has volunteered to coach every Friday night and has even coached on crutches after suffering a broken ankle . She has recently developed Wallasey Cricket Club ’ s first-ever female section . On the first training night , 72 females turned up and the numbers have maintained in the 70s ever since . She has made such a huge difference to the club since her arrival in April and has now created a really enjoyable , community evening for women ' s training on Monday nights . I personally feel her efforts need to be recognised .
Karen Meara & Katherine Fawcett
Blackley CC
Rob Jones
Karen & Katherine were new to the club two years ago and dived right in helping to deliver all stars and creating a women ' s cricket team in a very deprived area of North Manchester . They ' ve become indispensable members of the club committee and are absolutely deserving of some further recognition beyond anything the committee can do locally for their hard work and enthusiasm in bringing cricket to women and children in Manchester .
