The serious violations of international law, widespread allegations of extra-judicial killings, enforced disappearances, continued militarization of the North East of Sri Lanka, land grabbing, failure to reach political solution, failure to promote and protect the right of freedom and enact rule of law continues

under the jackboot of the army, even after the war ended five years ago.

This contravenes the recommendations of both the UNHRC resolutions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Charter.

The safety and the plight of the Tamils are getting from bad to worse with the state sponsored structural genocide taking place, with colonisation and land grabbing. People are living in fear of rape, torture, abduction and many are leaving by boats as refugees.

Even elected Tamil representatives are under harassment. The Tamil National Alliance Party having decisively winning the Northern Provincial Council elections have also passed a resolution calling for an International Independent Investigation.

In the Report of the UN Panel of Experts appointed by the Secretary General of the UN published on 31 March 2011, refers in paragraph 27 and mentions that it was a political and an ethnic armed conflict.

3) Towards a new operation humanist lobbying NGOs CNRJ:

For too long, the international community has dithered the Tamils in Sri Lanka. The international community has the obligation and responsibility to know how and why more than 100,000 were killed in the Mullaivakkal War of May 2009, resulting in 89,000 widows, 60 000 orphans, 146 000 still unaccounted for, and why still more than 50 000 are refused to return to their own homes and lands.

It is very clear that it is a planned structural genocidal war against the Tamils in the North and East to change the demography of the Tamil Nation and subjugate the Tamils further.

We support “Youth Tamil” solidarity, for accountability and justice, for peace and

reconciliation, urge all members of the 25th session of the UNHR Council in Geneva to support a strong resolution for an International within a specified time period.

That is why our NGO have the desire to launch a new campaign in 2014
