Pool

The initial pool scope included repair or replacement of the leaking pool planters, replacement of all worn electrical fixtures and wires, correction of drainage issues that affect the lower level and loading dock area, and replacement of worn/cracked pavers. Following detailed review, contractors and engineers strongly recommend the replacement of all pavers to correct potential safety issues. Over this next month, we will evaluate options to accelerate the required safety repairs.

ADA Compliance

Following a review of upcoming code changes, there were several added elements that must be included in our restroom renovation, including: wet walls for all lavatory stalls, Schluter cove drain for the floors (because restrooms serve as the pool restroom), and ADA compliant sinks throughout.

HVAC Vent Relocation

The aging tile drop ceiling in the main dining room will be replaced with an acoustic fabric ceiling. The fabric offers far better noise reduction. Currently, numerous HVAC vents are located within the ceiling tiles. Garrett strongly recommends relocation of those vents to perimeter wall surfaces to avoid discoloration and damage to the fabric.
