Resumen
En la lucha contra la trata de personas se requiere que las autoridades encar-
gadas de investigar y acusar el delito, cuenten con los medios técnicos y tecno-
lógicos al alcance y la habilidad necesaria para recolectar el material probatorio
en la investigación; el origen de los errores y debilidades de la investigación, que
pueden afectar las decisiones que toman los jueces y que salen a la luz tras leer
25 fallos emitidos por jueces de Colombia por casos en los que se condenó y/o
absolvió por dicho delito. Por tal razón, el presente escrito pretende describir las
técnicas criminológicas de investigación avanzada que coadyuvan de manera
eficaz y eficiente en la formulación de estrategias investigativas y analíticas que
garanticen llegar a la verdad jurídica de los hechos.

Abstract
In the fight against trafficking in persons, the authorities responsible for investigat-
ing and prosecuting the crime are required to have the technical and technological
means at their disposal and the ability to collect the evidence in the investigation;
the origin of the errors and weaknesses of the investigation, which may affect the
decisions taken by the judges and that come to light after reading 25 judgments is-
sued by Colombian judges for cases in which they were convicted and / or acquit-
ted for said crime. For this reason, the present document intends to describe the
criminological techniques of advanced investigation that contribute effectively and
efficiently in the formulation of investigative and analytical strategies that guaran-
tee to arrive at the legal truth of the facts.
